📋 How to Export Encounter Notes from Your EHR

  1. Open the patient's chart in Epic and navigate to the encounter you want to export.
  2. Click Chart Review or open the encounter note directly.
  3. Click Print (or Ctrl+P) and select Save as PDF as the destination.
  4. Save the PDF to your computer, then upload it here.

Tip: You can also use MyChart → Visit Summary → Download for patient-facing summaries.

  1. Open PowerChart and navigate to the patient's encounter.
  2. Go to Document Viewer or Clinical Notes.
  3. Select the encounter note (progress note, H&P, or discharge summary).
  4. Click PrintSave as PDF.
  5. Upload the saved PDF here.

  2. Navigate to Encounters and select the visit.
  3. Click Print or Export on the encounter note.
  4. Save as PDF and upload here.

  2. Go to Progress Notes and select the encounter.
  3. Click Print → choose Save as PDF.

  2. Navigate to Clinical Notes and select the encounter.
  3. Click Export PDF or PrintSave as PDF.

  1. Open any encounter note in your EHR (the document with HPI, ROS, Exam, Assessment, Plan).
  2. Click Print (or Ctrl+P / Cmd+P).
  3. Select Save as PDF as the printer/destination.
  4. Save the file and upload it here.

Any clinical document containing the encounter note is sufficient — it doesn't need to be a specific format.
